2014 Team Recap

2015 is here already!

2014 was a great year for our racing team, even though we had some difficulty fielding teams at the Championship events.

As 2015 begins, it's time to try and bolster some of our age groups. If you know a runner who might be interested in racing with our team, even if it's only for a couple of races each year, please let me know!

I challenge each of you to reach out to 1 runner that you know and talk to them about racing with Rose City.

Don't forget to renew your USATF-NJ membership, especially if you are running in any New Year's races. Make sure every race counts for your 2015 individual ranking here!

Start planning your races to be sure you get all the races you need for whichever competition you are focusing on.

USATF-NJ Awards Banquet will be held January 17.

Some of our members will be receiving individual awards and our 60’s Women’s team will also receive an award.

The USATF National Cross Country Championship was held at Lehigh University on December 13, 2014. Rose City 60’s Women were the only RCR age group brave enough to tackle the course. Cande, Lynda and Eileen formed the only NJ 60’s Women team to compete at this race, andplaced 6th in the team division. The national Championships draw a terrific field of runners.
