Clinton Country Run
It’s always windy at Bundt Park, since it sits on top of a hill, but this year’s race kicked off to what felt like record winds. Although we shivered at the start line (and there was much discussion of what to wear), once runners were out on the course it was a great day for running. Slightly over 300 runners completed the course (about 50 less than 2018). Rose City entered three teams: The 40s women placed 7th and the 40s men placed 6th. I discovered a problem with the 60s men’s results, so stay tuned for an update (where were my eagle eye results checkers?). Several of our team members placed well in their age groups. See the full results below.
Several of our RC2 and HRH club members also ran the 5K and dominated the podium! Check out the results online.
Thanks to Aileen and Bobi and the Hill Runners of Hunterdon for providing the best water stop on the course. Thanks also go to Lynda and Beth for hanging out at the bottom of Country Club to cheer us on.
The day finished with a great party at Lee and Lynda’s – thanks for hosting.
